Energy Prices (Early November 2015)

Electricity:  

The UK and Iceland are to re-examine the potential of building an interconnector between the two countries. The cable, which would be the world’s longest subsea interconnector and could take up to 10 years to build.

Gas: 

Gas prices on mainland Europe have not fallen as much as UK prices, with Year-ahead levels on the Dutch TTF market down just 3% over the last fortnight, despite reports of a step-up in Russian gas exports into Europe.
